John Duclos spoke on behalf of the T&DH Auxiliary. "The funds presented today are possible due to the hard work of over 150 volunteers with a total of 13,128 volunteer hours on a yearly basis. Every person who serves on the Auxiliary donates their time to work our gift shop, our tuck wagon, our book sale table, our ‘new to you' table, our bake sales and our Christmas bazaar. We also have volunteers who sell Nevada tickets. I would like to thank all of our volunteers for their dedication and compassion towards the patients of T&DH. They are the reason why we are able to support the Foundation." The Auxiliary has donated over $1 million dollars for the Foundation to purchase medical equipment since 1996, with an average gift of $85,566 over the past five years.

"The T&DH Auxiliary have been a long-time supporter of the hospital," Mr. Walker said. "I see their members working hard every day serving the public and the patients at T&DH. The work they do is phenomenal. In addition, the service they provide is essential to the general public and, most importantly, to the patients."

"On behalf of the Foundation board of directors, I would like to thank the T&DH Auxiliary for their continued support," Mr. Perrault said. "They are one of our top donors and they deserve every accolade for their hard work. The Auxiliary members understand the importance of what they do and they know the patients will benefit greatly from their donation."

The Timmins and District Hospital Foundation gratefully acknowledges the generosity of the T&DH Auxiliary. Working together, we can save lives.
